Switching our systems: 8 March, 2023

Moving to our new passenger service system from 8 March 2023:

 

Between 8 - 9 March 2023, our entire network will be undergoing a systems change as we switch over to Amadeus Altéa Passenger Service System (PSS). 

 

We apologise for any disruptions you and your customers may experience as we transition to Amadeus Altéa PSS. During the transition period, our Manage your booking portal, online check-in, reservation systems and mobile apps will be going offline. 

 

Please bear with us during this time, we’ll resume our services gradually starting from 9 March 2023. 

 

Once the migration process is complete, Amadeus Altéa PSS will provide much more personalised and user-friendly features, delivering more benefits for you and your customers:

  • A tailored experience to navigate the entire travel planning process, including post-travel experiences.
  • The ability to update flight bookings, or split an online booking for multiple guests travelling together in the same booking.
  • Real-time price updates, personalised ancillaries, offers, discounts, customised booking options and more.

 

What this means for you:

 

The Reservations Inventory and Ticketing (RIT) migration will take place between 8 and 9 March 2023.

 

This means that all systems, including GDS, Etihad.com and our self-service system including online check-in, will be offline so you won’t be able to book or exchange a ticket during this period, online or via our contact centres.
