Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, would like to share the below updates regarding lounge access following on from the changes made as part of Branded Fare Attribute Differentiation updates earlier this year.

1.    Complimentary Lounge tagging on PNRs:

Please be advised that, effective 11 June 2025, we will update the tagging of complimentary lounge access for Business and First PNRs. You may notice changes to, or the removal of, existing complimentary lounge SK remarks linked to the fare brand attributes.

Going forward, only ineligible Business fares will be tagged with an SK remark (SK NOLO) on the PNR, all other eligible Business and First fares will continue to be granted complimentary lounge access.

2.    Lounge ancillary purchase via GDS:

We are pleased to announce that, effective 17 June 2025, agents will be able to purchase selected lounge products via GDS*. This will support in fulfilling your guests’ booking requests at the time of booking.
