Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, is further expanding its regional network with the launch of flights to Kabul, starting 18 December 2025.

The new service responds to growing demand for travel between the UAE and Afghanistan, providing direct access between Abu Dhabi and Kabul while offering seamless onward connections to key markets across the GCC, Europe, Australia and North America.

Home to one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities and a history spanning over 3,000 years, Afghanistan’s rich heritage will be more accessible as Etihad’s new service strengthens connections between Afghanistan, Abu Dhabi, and key destinations across the airline’s global network.

Flights will be operated by Etihad’s Airbus A320, featuring Business and Economy cabins that combine comfort, convenience, and the airline’s renowned hospitality.
