From 17 December 2026 to 21 March 2027, Etihad will operate four weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Gothenburg, establishing the Swedish city's first direct air link to the Middle East and Asia.

Travellers from Abu Dhabi will gain direct access to Gothenburg's distinctive west-coast charm, celebrated for its archipelago, fresh seafood markets, the festive illuminations of Liseberg and the cobbled lanes of historic Haga.

The new seasonal service responds to strong demand for leisure, trade and business travel, strengthening links between Scandinavia and Etihad's global network via Abu Dhabi. Flights will be operated by Etihad’s A321LR, the newest aircraft in the fleet, configured with two First Suites, 14 fully flat Business seats and 144 Economy seats.
