From 10 December 2025, guests can check visa, entry and travel requirements for their destination through our new co-branded experience, powered by our partnership with Sherpa.
This launch introduces an enhanced digital solution allowing guests to verify destination-specific entry rules, visa needs, passport validity requirements and health documentation requirements in real time.
Note: UAE transit visas continue to be facilitated through the existing process and are not impacted by this launch.

FAQ
Guests access the Sherpa tool via Etihad.com, enter nationality, destination and trip details, view applicable requirements, and get guided to apply for visas or complete documentation directly with Sherpa.
Visa applications and travel documentation services requested through the tool are managed directly by Sherpa, subject to each country’s regulations and processing timelines. UAE transit visas remain managed through current Etihad-facilitated channels.
Guests can access support via the Help or Contact section within the Sherpa platform. If they have already submitted an application, they will need to reference their application number. For UAE transit visa queries, guests should continue to follow the existing contact and support process.
Guests can view their personalised entry requirements by accessing the Sherpa tool via Etihad.com or the direct link provided. Use this script for guest queries:
