Etihad Airways and Vietnam Airlines have expanded their partnership with a new codeshare agreement, launched alongside Etihad’s direct service to Hanoi. 

This codeshare allows Etihad to operate Vietnam Airlines flights across key domestic destinations including Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc under the ‘EY’ code, offering guests seamless travel with a single ticket, one check-in, and automatic baggage transfer. 

Vietnam Airlines passengers also gain access to Etihad’s global network via Abu Dhabi, connecting to cities across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. 

The partnership also includes a reciprocal loyalty agreement, enabling members of Etihad Guest and Lotusmiles to earn and redeem miles across both airlines’ networks. 

This strengthened collaboration enhances Etihad’s presence in Asia and provides broader travel options and flexibility to guests and trade partners alike.
