Etihad Airways and Uzbekistan Airways have signed a codeshare partnership to strengthen connections between Abu Dhabi and Central Asia.
Effective 15 May 2026, with codeshare travel available from 9 August 2026, Etihad’s daily Tashkent-Abu Dhabi service will be bookable on Uzbekistan Airways’ network and Uzbekistan Airways flights will be marketed on Etihad’s ‘EY’ code, offering guests a single ticket, one check‑in and through‑checked baggage.
The agreement provides Etihad guests connections from Tashkent to eight domestic destinations — Samarkand, Urgench, Nukus, Termez, Fergana, Namangan, Andizhan and Bukhara — and select international routes. Uzbekistan Airways passengers gain easy access to Abu Dhabi via Tashkent and onward connections across Etihad’s global network. The airlines are also developing a frequent‑flyer partnership between Etihad Guest and UzAirPlus to expand rewards for members.
The partnership opens Central Asia’s Silk Road heritage and wide‑open landscapes to Etihad’s guests while giving Uzbekistan Airways travellers broader international connectivity through Abu Dhabi.
