We’re delighted to share that Etihad Airways and Hong Kong Airlines (HX) have expanded their partnership with a new codeshare and reciprocal loyalty agreement, signed during our inaugural flight to Hong Kong. 

This strengthened collaboration makes Hong Kong to Abu Dhabi services operated by Hong Kong Airlines available under Etihad’s ‘EY’ code, offering guests greater flexibility and seamless travel between the two hubs.  

In addition, guests can now connect onwards to key Japanese destinations including Fukuoka, Sapporo, Osaka and Okinawa on Hong Kong Airlines-operated flights under the ‘HX’ code. 

This enhanced partnership further broadens Etihad’s presence across Asia and creates exciting new opportunities and a wider range of travel options to guests.
