Etihad x CarTrawler Partnership

From 12 November 2025, guests can book car rental and airport transfers worldwide through our new co-branded site, powered by our partnership with CarTrawler.

This launch introduces a new car rental product and an enhanced airport transfer experience, replacing the previous Sixt-branded site. Guests will benefit from a wider choice of vehicles, competitive prices, and the ability to earn 1 Etihad Guest Mile for every 1 USD spent.

What’s New 

  • Car Rental – A new product allowing guests to compare and book vehicles from hundreds of trusted providers worldwide. 
  • Airport Transfers – The airport transfer product is now hosted on the new co-branded site launched with CarTrawler, which replaces the former Sixt-branded site. Sixt remains available as one of several transfer providers within the new platform.
  • Bookings are made directly through the new co-branded site, accessible via Etihad.com, or using the direct product links below.
  • Payments are made securely using major credit/debit cards
  • Etihad Guest Miles – Guests earn 1 mile per 1 USD spent on both car rental and airport transfer bookings.

  • How are payments handled? 

All payments are processed securely by CarTrawler through the co-branded site.  

  • What happens after booking? 

Guests will receive a confirmation email once the booking is complete from CarTrawler.  

  • Who manages changes or refunds? 

All changes, cancellations, and refunds are handled directly by CarTrawler through the co-branded site, in line with each supplier’s policy.  

  • How can guests contact support? 

Support is available through the Help or Contact page on the co-branded site. Guests can enter their booking reference to access the relevant contact options.  

  • Where can guests find their booking details? 

In the booking confirmation email.
