Etihad Airways and Africa World Airlines have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deepen connectivity between West Africa and the Middle East.

The agreement covers interline and codeshare cooperation, cargo collaboration and frequent‑flyer benefits, enabling single‑ticket connections between Accra, wider Ghana and West Africa and Etihad’s network of 118 destinations. The MoU, effective 24 July 2026, will be implemented in phases and paves the way for combined journeys when Etihad launches its Abu Dhabi–Accra service on 24 March 2027.
