This new route marks Etihad’s sixth U.S. destination and provides direct access to one of America’s most dynamic and fast-growing regions.

Guests travelling to the U.S. benefit from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Preclearance at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, enabling them to arrive in Charlotte as domestic passengers – ensuring a smooth and time-saving arrival experience.

By landing in Charlotte, travellers have access to great connectivity across the continental US. Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) underscores the city’s global significance, ranking sixth worldwide for aircraft movements in 2024 and setting a new record with 58.8 million passengers-reflecting its status as a major transport gateway and a key player in international travel.
