From 17 December 2025, guests travelling on blockspace flights operated by Akasa Airlines (QP) and Air Seychelles (HM) will enjoy more flexibility with the introduction of iEMD support.

With this enhancement, guests will be able to add Seats and Extra baggage during the booking process for travel on or after 29 January 2026, offering a more convenient and seamless booking experience.

What’s New?

• Seat selection: Guests can select their preferred seat at the time of booking or later through Manage Booking, available up to 72 hours before departure.
• Extra Baggage: Guests can purchase additional baggage up to 4 hours before departure, providing greater choice and convenience when planning their journey.

Note: Standard Etihad ancillary rules will continue to apply. Servicing and support will remain available through existing channels.

This ensures a consistent and enhanced experience for guests travelling on Akasa Airlines and Air Seychelles blockspace services, in line with Etihad’s commitment to delivering seamless connectivity across our partner network.
