Etihad launches Dhaka services

Etihad Airways is launching a new seasonal service to Dhaka, the vibrant capital of Bangladesh and a key gateway to South Asia.

From 26 June 2026, Etihad will operate four weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Dhaka. Travellers from Abu Dhabi will enjoy a direct connection to Bangladesh’s bustling metropolis, renowned for its rich cultural heritage, dynamic markets and warm hospitality. Meanwhile, guests travelling from Dhaka can explore Abu Dhabi’s world‑class attractions, including the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Yas Island entertainment venues, pristine beaches and desert landscapes, with convenient onward connections across Etihad’s global network.

Flights will be operated by Etihad’s Boeing 777 aircraft, offering the airline’s signature Business and Economy experience with generous widebody comfort and service excellence. The route supports strong passenger demand between the UAE and Bangladesh, connecting one of the world's largest expatriate communities while boosting links for trade and business travel.
