Etihad Airways and Ibom Air have signed an interline agreement that will extend Etihad’s reach across Nigeria via Ibom Air’s domestic network. The partnership enables guests to travel on a single ticket from Etihad’s global network to Abuja, Uyo, Port Harcourt, Calabar and Enugu via Lagos or Accra, with through-checked baggage to their final destination.
The agreement will be available from the launch of Etihad’s new services to West Africa in March 2027, including daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Lagos from 23 March 2027 and four weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Accra from 24 March 2027. Tickets combining both airlines’ networks will go on sale from 3 November, offering seamless onward connectivity across Nigeria.
