The operating carrier on Etihad flights to/from Shanghai will temporarily be changed from Etihad Airways (EY) to China Eastern Airlines (MU), effective 29 March 2026.

As a result of this operating aircraft change, existing bookings will require ticket reissuance.

Agent actions:

• Please reissue the affected tickets in accordance with the fare rules and Etihad’s involuntary change policy.
• For bookings that include ancillary services (such as seating, meals, or lounge access), please contact the Etihad Airways call centre for assistance with ancillary refunds.

Etihad Airways offers the following options for flight cancellation to/from Shanghai (PVG), China.

1.      Changes:

• Involuntary rebooking permitted on below flights departing +/- 7 days of original flight.
  • EY codeshare on China Eastern Airline (EY*MU) on AUH-PVG-AUH route.
  • EY to/ from Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) (no domestic flight covered)

• Same or lowest available RBD in the same cabin must be used.
• Rebooking must be completed within 60 days of notification or 60 days from departure, whichever date falls later.

2.      Refund:

• Full refund permitted

• All commercial tickets
• Tickets purchased on/before 14Jan26

The PNR must updated with the remark- “CW001-2026 PVG flight cancellation”
