Dear Trade Partner,
The suspension on flights to the UK has been lifted by the UK authorities on a trial basis from 8 June 2021. Etihad will be operating special flights to London Heathrow (LHR) from the 8 – 29 June, with further flights awaiting approval from the UK authorities.
The UAE remains on the UK red list. However, guests can travel to LHR, arriving at dedicated facilities for hotel quarantine, unless they are transiting in which case hotel quarantine will not apply.
Flights to Manchester are still suspended until further notice.
Guests will be permitted to enter the UK from the UAE if they are a British or Irish national, or if they have residence rights in the UK.
There are strict rules in place in order to fly to England and a hotel quarantine must be booked (not required for guests transiting LHR). Essential travel regulations for these flights can be found at etihad.com/destinationguide.
Thank you for your continued support.
