Important information about flights to India

07 April 2021, 04:30 PM

Dear Trade Partner,

Delivering the best possible travel experience starts with making sure that every guest is fully prepared to travel. By meeting all mandatory travel requirements, we can reduce queues, make check-in smoother and ensure that everyone is accepted to fly.

That’s where we need your help.

Please make sure your customer has the right documents so they can be accepted to fly as we’ve seen an increase in the number of guests unprepared to travel and denied boarding for flights to India. We’ve summarised the current requirements below. Please make sure these are followed carefully – boarding will be denied otherwise.

  1. Take a COVID-19 PCR test no more than 72 hours before departure. Includes children and infants.
  2. Complete a Passenger Information Form – make sure you enter the correct flight number.
  3. Complete the Air Suvidha Self Declaration Form and upload the PCR test result to the Ministry of Health and Indian Authorities.
  4. Quarantine varies by state in India. Some states require pre-payments and additional documents. Always check etihad.com/destinationguide.
  5. Download the Aarogya Setu app
  6.  At the very minimum, we need an email address for all guests to send them important updates and information about their flight as regulations can and do change at the last minute.
Always advise your guests to read the latest travel regulations before they fly at etihad.com/destinationguide
