Eid al-Fitr from the entire team at Etihad

As we approach Eid al-Fitr, I want to extend my good wishes to you and your family. Wherever you are in the world, we’re thinking of you during these unprecedented times. We know it’s been challenging, but we’re looking forward to the brighter skies ahead, and returning to them with you all.

As always, I want to make sure you know exactly what is happening at Etihad and keep you fully up to date with our network.

Our flying today

Since my last email, I’m pleased to say that we’ve significantly increased the number of flights we’re operating, with the introduction of transit flights via Abu Dhabi between Sydney, Melbourne and London.

We’re working closely with the UAE Government and global aviation authorities to return to a fuller schedule as soon as circumstance allow. That means that our network is changing daily, and you can find our latest flight schedules at


Flights from Abu Dhabi

Until we resume a fuller schedule, we’re pleased to be operating flights from Abu Dhabi to over 20 destinations across Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America and more to help foreign citizens return home.

Flights to Abu Dhabi

We’re operating limited one-way flights to Abu Dhabi to help residents and nationals return to the UAE. Guests must have ICA approval from the government of Abu Dhabi before they travel or they will not be permitted to check in otherwise.

We’re operating weekly services between Australia and the UK via Abu Dhabi. Our weekly flights are available in Economy and Business between London Heathrow, Sydney and Melbourne.
