Our cover is included with every Etihad Airways ticket traveling from 7 September 2020 and 31 December 2020, so wherever guests are flying to, they can travel there with confidence.

Our COVID-19 global wellness insurance cover is an extension to guests travel insurance, giving them extra peace of mind as they travel the world. If they’re diagnosed with COVID-19 whilst away, we’ll take care of medical expenses and quarantine costs. No stress, no hassle. Simple.

How to use our COVID-19 global wellness insurance cover

Our cover is included with every Etihad Airways ticket traveling from 7 September 2020 until 31 December 2020.

Guests can simply book a flight with Etihad Airways and they’ll be covered for 31 days from the first day of their trip. This is available through all booking channels.

If a guests is diagnosed with COVID-19 whilst they’re away, they should contact our Etihad COVID-19 Assistance Team as soon as possible. This is really important as guests will not be reimbursed for any services that have not been organised by Etihad COVID-19 Assistance. Please note guests will not be covered for the cost of PCR tests.

There’s no need for guests to complete any forms, we’ll simply do the rest. Information or assistance relating to Etihad COVID 19 Assistance is not available through our Contact Centre.
