Commercial Waiver for FlyBe (BE) service cancellation

Due to cancellation of Flybe (BE) operations effective 05March20 Etihad Airways is offering the following options for passengers who are booked on EY tickets having flights operated by BE and who have purchased their tickets on/before 05 March 2020.


For Guest whose tickets are issued on EY stock which include -

EY* flight operated by BE or BE flights (Interline documents) re-booking / re-routing permitted.

  • Guests can be rerouted to a nearby EY gateway point in that region.
  •  Alternatively, rebooking can done on EI / KL / SN & LH on the original RBD or the lowest available RBD in the same cabin. e.g. BFS -EI -LHR -EY-AUH


Change fees are waived for this one instance only, any subsequent changes will be subject to normal reissue fees.


Re-routing and endorsement onto any other airlines, other than mentioned in this policy is not permitted.


Any transportation or additional cost to these alternative points is at guest’s own expense and Etihad will not bear any expenses related to that sector.



Guest impacted by the above situation can request a refund.


The above policy is applicable for Group bookings also.


Guests may contact their travel agent through whom the original ticket was purchased or any Etihad office to process the refund.


Please ensure the PNR is updated with the remark " Invol change due BE service termination”
