Due to the temporary suspension of EY888 / EY889 services between Beijing, China - Nagoya, Japan from 03 February 2020 to 28 March 2020. Etihad Airways is offering the following options to guests who have purchased EY tickets on/before 12 February 2020, to travel to/from NGO, Nagoya Japan via Beijing, China.
For guest travelling to Nagoya via PEK
For partially used/fully unused tickets, re-booking / re-routing is available on EY codeshare flights
Journeys to/from AUH – NGO via PEK may be rerouted via NRT / ICN on EY marketed flights
for e.g. AUH -EY– NRT- EY* (NH)- NGO v.v. (or) AUH -EY– ICN -EY*(OZ) NGO.
Rebooking needs to be done on the original RBD or the lowest available RBD in the same cabin. Change fees are waived for this one instance only, any subsequent changes will be subject to normal reissue fees
For guest travelling between PEK – NGO v.v.
For partially used/fully unused tickets, re-booking / re-routing is available on Air China operating flights
Journeys to/from PEK – NGO sectors may be re-reissued on CA for e.g. PEK -CA- NGO v.v.
Rebooking between PEK – NGO sectors on CA, must be made from the lowest to highest available RBD in the same cabin in the following order – “V / Q” for economy cabin and “C” for Business cabin.
Re-routing and endorsement onto other airlines not permitted other than CA.
For tickets issued on/before 12 February 2020 for travel to/from Nagoya via Beijing between 03 February 2020 to 28 March 2020, guest impacted by the above situation can request a full refund. Refund on partially utilized ticket must be calculated based upon pro-rata mileage flown.
The above policy is applicable for Group bookings also.
Please ensure the PNR is updated with the remark "Invol change due PEK -NGO service temporary service suspension to Nagoya via PEK”
