At Etihad, we’ve been busy behind the scenes, and I wanted to make sure that you’re up to date with everything that’s been going on.
As we continue to navigate the impacts of COVID-19, we look to the future with a renewed energy; optimistic that the global vaccine rollout will help us all return to some normality.
100% of our crew on board have been vaccinated
Today we’re excited to announce that we’re the first airline in the world to vaccinate all pilots and cabin crew on board against COVID-19.
We’ve proactively made the vaccine available to all of our employees, to help combat COVID-19 and make our guests feel confident and reassured when they fly.
Not only are we the only airline to make COVID-19 testing mandatory before every flight, we’re now the only one with 100% vaccinated crew on board too.
We’re working hard to keep the world connected safely as global restrictions are enforced across our network. We aim to fly to up to 60 destinations this spring, with our new twice weekly service to Qatar starting on 18 February.

We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive feedback we’ve received about Etihad Wellness; our comprehensive safety and wellbeing programme. From take-off to touchdown, guests feel more comfortable at every step of their journey when they travel with Etihad Airways.
From additional deep cleaning and complimentary wellness kits, to a dedicated team of Wellness Ambassadors available 24/7, we’re doing everything we can to make travelling with us as safe and comfortable as possible.
We’re also the only airline to make COVID-19 PCR testing mandatory before every single flight. Your guests will feel safe knowing that everyone on board has tested negative for COVID-19.
But we’re not stopping there.
